We've updated the Kandji web app, including the following changes:

We’ve introduced a new Library Item that lets you directly deploy In-House Apps (.ipa files) to iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV devices. For information on the In-House App Library Item, see our Configuring the In-House App Library Item support article.

We’ve expanded our list of Global Variables to include key cellular-related details like ICCID, IMEI, MEID, and phone numbers for both active SIM slots. We’ve also added model identifiers, including Model Name, Number, and Identifier. These variables are available across Kandji, whether you’re working with custom profiles or App Config. Check out our support article for the full list.

Now, whenever a user’s email, department, job title, or group info is updated in a connected Identity Provider (IdP), Kandji will reevaluate Assignment Rules on both Classic Blueprints and Assignment Maps for Library Items delivered via MDM in near-real time—no more waiting until the next daily check-in.
Similarly, when a device’s OS version or FileVault status is updated (as reported by the Kandji Agent), Assignment Rules will also be reevaluated within minutes, removing the need to wait for the next daily check-in.

Sometimes, an Identity Provider (IdP) might only send a deactivate or suspend request when a user is removed. We're now allowing admins to remove archived users manually, providing more control and flexibility for managing user provisioning conflicts.

You can now install iPhone-only apps on iPad devices. To do this, update the app’s 'Installs On' setting in the Library Item to include iPad.

We’ve refreshed the login and password reset experience. Now, when visiting a Kandji tenant, admins will be automatically redirected to the login page—they no longer need to manually click a "Login" button.

We're updating the Devices tab with Views, providing more robust device management capabilities. This update includes:
- Access to over 30 device attributes
- Custom date filtering options
- Enhanced search functionality to locate devices across your fleet
This update will roll out to Kandji tenants in phases over the next week.
