Endpoint Detection & Response: Avert Library Item

With the launch of Kandji Endpoint Detection & Response, customers who purchased the add-on SKU will see the new Avert Library Item on the Add New Library Item page. This new Library Item will give IT admins the ability to configure security postures for malware and potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) and to customize their own allow and block list for specific file hashes and paths.

There will be two security postures available: In Detect mode, the Kandji Agent will detect and report malicious files. In Protect mode, the Kandji Agent will detect malicious files and automatically quarantine them. When a file is quarantined, users will not be able to access it nor have visibility into where it's located. In both modes, the Kandji Agent will also provide specific threat information on the malicious files.
