The Kandji web app has been updated, including the following improvements:

Removable System Extensions

To specify system extensions that should be able to remove themselves in the System Extensions Library Item, use the Allow specific system extensions option, and set the new choice for Can remove itself? to Yes.

New Profile Metadata in Activity Entries

Device Activity and Library Item Status entries for profile Library Items now include additional metadata. PayloadUUID corresponds to the installed profile payload’s globally unique identifier, and PayloadIdentifier corresponds to the installed profile payload’s reverse-DNS style identifier. The existing ProfileUUID field corresponds to the Kandji Library Item identifier. For more details on that, see our support article.

EDR

Admins can now perform hash searches in VirusTotal directly from the web application.

Miscellaneous Improvements

• Duplicating Library Items in Safari now takes you to the new Library Item.

• Improved reliability for escrowing FileVault recovery keys.

• Improved reliability for Kandji Agent installations on initial enrollment.

• Some restrictions that were being applied only to Apple silicon Mac computers will now deploy to Intel Mac computers as well.

• Display updates for iPad Air M2 (11- and 13-inch) and iPad Pro M4 (11- and 13-inch).
